Full day Elephant / Bamboo Rafting & Waterfall
Full Day Program
8:00 AM – 8:30 AM
4:30 PM – 05:00 PM
Are you ready for a full-throttle immersion into the wild beauty of Northern Thailand? Our full-day programme is a journey of two halves: the soulful connection of the forest and the adrenaline of the river. At Kerchor, the Karen people welcome you into a tradition where elephants are regarded as sacred family members. This is not a pre-planned performance; rather, it immerses you in the daily activities of the jungle.
The morning belongs to the giants. You’ll start by preparing natural herbal supplements and feeding the herd, getting to know the unique personalities of each elephant. Then, it’s time to embark on the trail. You’ll walk alongside them through the forest, watching them interact with the landscape in total freedom. After a refreshing elephant bath in the river, you’ll recharge with a traditional Thai meal prepared by our community.
In the afternoon, the landscape changes. You’ll board a traditional bamboo raft, navigating the winding currents of the local river just as our ancestors did. The journey culminates at a hidden waterfall, where you can plunge into the cool, cascading waters to wash off the jungle heat. The spirit of conservation fuels every moment of this adventure. The majority of your tour income is dedicated to elephant forage, habitat protection, and rescue fees. You aren’t just a tourist; you are a vital part of a local effort to keep our elephants and our community thriving in their ancestral home.
